Starting from humble roots in our home in 2004, we had a vision that would change how we looked at the next 20 years.  We believed we could change the way people looked at, thought about, and purchased their favorite foods, and we were passionate about feeding students across America.

  • Is the granola in the yogurt parfait gluten free?
    Yes, the granola in the yogurt parfait and the yogurt parfait component kit does not contain any gluten based products or ingredients.
  • Is the granola in the yogurt parfait nut free?
    Yes, our granola is nut free, although there are nuts present in the facility.
  • What is the shelf life on a complete yogurt parfait kit?
    Since we partnered with Upstate Farms who manufactures yogurt with the longest shelf life in the industry, we guarantee a 60-day shelf life delivered to the distributor.
  • Does the Right Start Foods Complete Yogurt Parfait come in different flavors?
    Our complete Yogurt Parfait kit is only made with the Upstate Farms nonfat vanilla yogurt, but you can purchase our yogurt parfait component kit that contains 96 1 ounce packages of granola, 96 1.16 ounce packages of dried cranberries and 96 plastic lids and then add whatever flavor of Upstate Farms 4-ounce yogurt your students would like.
  • If we are purchasing the component pack can we use another brand of yogurt besides Upstate Farms?
    No, we teamed with Upstate Farms to design our custom lid to fit their 4-ounce yogurt for a perfect seal. We partnered with Upstate Farms as they provide great quality yogurt with the longest shelf life in industry, offering 90 days from pack, giving us time to create our complete yogurt parfait and getting it to your distributor with still 60 days to serve this great product to your students!
  • Is the yogurt parfait kosher?
    Our granola and dried cranberries are certified kosher. If you need a copy of the certificate or other information please feel free to reach to email at info@globalfoodsolutions.co
  • IS THE PRODUCT GLUTEN FREE?
    No, the product is currently made with whole grain flour and is not suitable for people with celiac disease or people who require a gluten free diet.
  • CAN YOU PROVIDE US WITH YOUR PRODUCT SPECIFICATION SHEET?

  • WHAT FLAVORS ARE AVAILABLE?
    Currently Apple Cinnamon, Blueberry, Corn Bread, Cinnamon Oat, Banana, and Chocolate Chip.
  • WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE AFTER THAWING?
    After product has been removed from the freezer and thawed it is best used within a 5-7 day period. For any questions on product while using please email Info@globalfoodsolutions.co and someone from our team will be in touch to help you.
  • HOW DO YOU THAW THE PRODUCT?
    1. Remove Product from case. (Failure to remove product from case can cause excess moisture in packaging and longer than normal thaw times). 2. Thaw 2-4 hours at room temperature or until the product is no longer frozen. 3. Serve or hold at room temperature for 5-7 days and serve. 4. Do not Refreeze product after thawing. 5.   • HOW DO I SERVE THE PRODUCT?
    We recommend either thaw and serve of the product or after thaw warming the product slightly in the package prior to service. Do not bake the product in an oven as the film is not designed to withstand such high heat.
  • Internal Operations Manager (Internally Focused)
    Job Title: Internal Operations Manager (Internally Focused) Location: 159 Adams Avenue, Hauppauge NY 11788 Full/Part Time: Full Time Required On-Site / Work Remote: On-site preferred with availability to discuss flexible work remote Hours: 8am – 4pm. Flexible start and end time available Travel: Limited to Lower NY and NJ. Limited trips per year ​ The Position Serves: The Internal Operations Manager (Internally Focused) position will be working with our customer service and operations team in support of our vendors, operations, and partner production facilities. This role will be the key to our understanding of shipments, orders, inventory, and production flow at external production facilities. Responsibilities will include a full range of activities from working with vendors, logistics providers, and contracted production facilities. This is a fast-paced role with many changing and moving parts on an ongoing basis as we continue to grow and scale. Attention to detail is a must for this role. The ideal candidate for the position of Internal Operations Manager (Internally Focused) is… A problem-solver who will play a critical role in defining our order process and flow. A leader that will have a significant impact on our business’ internal operations. A positive influencer that will improve the way the company operates in order to amplify the impact in our customer service and internal operations divisions. Candidates must have strong technological skills, as well as communication and problem-solving skills. Functional Responsibilities: Placing purchase orders for goods into our internal ERP system (NetSuite) and send to external vendors Manage communication and order flow between external vendors, external production facilitates, and third-party logistics providers Place work orders to external production facilities based on forecasts and sales orders Management of work orders at different production locations Ability to review and manage inventory at multiple locations externally Management of 5 inventory locations with an approximate 50 goods per location Receive and fulfill orders into and out of our inventory Forward and manage orders sent to a third-party logistics provider Place, manage and execute inventory transfers with the operations team to ensure proper inventory values and goods for production at external facilities Ensure all inventory is correct with hard counts and manage inventory adjustments to ensure proper order schedule, production, forecasting, purchasing Confirming proper pricing on all purchase orders based on regional/bid/special pricing with customers Managing open work orders with external production facilities Managing open purchase orders for various goods from different vendors Managing specific shipments that require the use of our third-party logistics company LineCor Must possess excellent follow-up and tracking skills. This role has many moving parts and candidate must follow up and close out all orders properly Understand when to escalate vendor concerns or how-to problem solve concerns independently Relationship Management Responsibilities: Liaise and collaborate between key stakeholders (internally with the team, externally with vendors, and contracted production facilities).
