The Position Serves:
The Internal Operations Manager (Internally Focused) position will be working with our customer service and operations team in support of our vendors, operations, and partner production facilities.
This role will be the key to our understanding of shipments, orders, inventory, and production flow at external production facilities. Responsibilities will include a full range of activities from working with vendors, logistics providers, and contracted production facilities. This is a fast-paced role with many changing and moving parts on an ongoing basis as we continue to grow and scale. Attention to detail is a must for this role.

Functional Responsibilities:
Placing purchase orders for goods into our internal ERP system (NetSuite) and send to external vendors
Manage communication and order flow between external vendors, external production facilitates, and third-party logistics providers
Place work orders to external production facilities based on forecasts and sales orders
Management of work orders at different production locations
Ability to review and manage inventory at multiple locations externally
Management of 5 inventory locations with an approximate 50 goods per location
Receive and fulfill orders into and out of our inventory
Forward and manage orders sent to a third-party logistics provider
Place, manage and execute inventory transfers with the operations team to ensure proper inventory values and goods for production at external facilities
Ensure all inventory is correct with hard counts and manage inventory adjustments to ensure proper order schedule, production, forecasting, purchasing
Confirming proper pricing on all purchase orders based on regional/bid/special pricing with customers
Managing open work orders with external production facilities
Managing open purchase orders for various goods from different vendors
Managing specific shipments that require the use of our third-party logistics company LineCor
Must possess excellent follow-up and tracking skills. This role has many moving parts and candidate must follow up and close out all orders properly
Understand when to escalate vendor concerns or how-to problem solve concerns independently
Relationship Management Responsibilities:
Liaise and collaborate between key stakeholders (internally with the team, externally with vendors, and contracted production facilities).
Cultivate strong business relationships by demonstrating an understanding of related processes.
Requirements:
Education & Experience: Requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelors's degree or equivalent. A University/College degree is an asset but not required.
Degree desired in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
Five (5) years plus, work experience in direct procurement and supply chain management in food, beverage or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries
Computer Skills: Standard computer skills; experience in
Microsoft Office applications (or equivalent products)
Zoom (or equivalent products)
Zoho (or equivalent products)
DropBox (or equivalent products)
NetSuite (or equivalent ERP systems)
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to provide clear updates both internally to the team and externally to customer/vendors
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to tell the “story.” Experience communicating technical information to stakeholders, peers, management, and non-technical team members. Experience communicating functional requirements to highly technical team members.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across the team with a growth mindset and propensity towards action and learning
Ability to work independently and set priorities based on key milestones, impact to strategic initiatives and high-level direction of management
Ability to handle many projects simultaneously in a high-paced environment
